getting greener in a good way

[this is good]

good post!

dual flush is great - i have it at home and here at the office.

We just looked at a "green" house in O.C. It's in a new green community and it had the dual flush toilets too! That was one of my fav. parts of the house.

a few of my friends have priuses, and they have kids too. they said it was surprisingly roomy. i think the hatchback trunk helps, so i would say prius over the civic, especially if you're considering bringing in little ones to your family. ;) i've seen "living with ed." it's pretty good, but some of those people with the green homes, they put a lot of money into it!!
actually Pitzer is not in the San Fernando Valley. it's part of the 5 C's of the Claremont Colleges. (CMC, Pitzer, Pomona, Harvey Mudd, and Scripps) and then there's the grad schools: CGU, Keck Grad Institute, and Claremont School of Theology.

the main thing about hybrids is that their carbon emissions are a lot lower. i'm sure there are anti-hybrid folks who will continuously tell you that you will not save money on gas. that's fine. it's not the point. do you remember tina from hs? she has a civic hybrid. i can send you her email if you want to talk to her. i think the diff is the engines used.
and if you're not picky and don't mind getting a non-leather, non-bluetooth, non-8-speaker prius, you can use Costco's car program. otherwise, if you're looking to get a model 5 or 6, you'll have to deal with the sales people. we got a model 2.
