lwtsh's best pet buy

we totally didn't want to spend $70 on a dog brush either, but eventually broke down too. best money ever spent! well, that and the roomba. :)

i can brush a little maltese off of akira. lol
Thanks A! I always wanted to know about those versus the $12 one! Now I know! When the kits get bigger, I'll get them one. They don't seem to shed right now (or I can't see it) and they're too little to understand the pleasures of a kitty brush!
wow! is your cat long or shorthair? i'd love to reduce the fluff around here. esp. now that is hot out, its even more.

kinsie: woo, how is the roomba? we are looking at one. i hear that there's one that does mopping, too!

cab: you should get them use to brushing younger. i know our two cats are not use to brushing because they can't stand being brushed. but definitely get a furminator when they get older.

maomau: both cats are short hair and they still shed a lot before the furminator. you can tell the definitely tell the difference after you brush them. a lot less fur comes off my hand when i pet both of them.

this is probably one time i'm really glad i don't have a pet that sheds. but it's great to know that you get what you pay for. i'm still LOLing at Kinsiekins Maltese comment.

btw, i have the Scooba - the mopping version of the Roomba. it rocks. but you cannot use on laminate wood floors. best on tile floors, acrylic etc.
Luckily we got our furminator as a gift, mwaha! And it DOES work great, just careful with it around sensitive areas like the face--it can pull of whiskers! Yuki loooooooves being furminated :)

aiyah: no laminate wood floor? darn! does it ruin the finish?

nabine: yeah, we avoid the faces; both would never ever let us go near their faces unless we want to get hissed at.

you broke down and got it!! lol! which reminds me, i need to defurminate bridget. i try to be careful because i can get carried away and i don't want to hurt her... glad that you like it and glad the kitties are happier for it!!
yeah i think it strips away the finish of it. since i have all tiles in my house, it's good for that but i can't use it upstairs on the laminate wood floors. sad.
