my one and only new year's resolution
i only have one because i don't want to make ones i can't keep. my track record is pretty dismal.
- go meatless one day out of the week
i've done it before and it's easy. i'd eat an egg salad sandwich for lunch. for dinner, i'd eat carb's and veggies at soup plantation. i didn't even miss meat! there are so many delicious options. trader joe's have awesome meatless options in their frozen section.
the hubby and i also discovered the wonderfulness of indian cuisine. the only meat dishes i eat (or know of) are chicken tiki masala and tandoori chicken. other than those two dishes, i can go vegetarian with indian food because it's all so good.
if you ask me if i will go vegetarian, most likely not. i like meat and seafood too much, in particularly, chicken and turkey. i can go w/o the beef or pork but don't tear me away from the chicken and turkey! in fact, i just polished off an entire chicken from costco by myself in 3 nights this past week. oh, well.
while i can make a none to nil difference in global warming, it's a start.
